This lady knows how to throw a party and we were treated to an insight in to her exclusive world.
The seed for The Edge Events was sown, as all good ideas are, over drinks with friends in Cheshire’s Alderley Edge. Lynette now specialises in organising events of all sizes, from Private Parties to Red Carpet functions; pushing the boundaries to make a great event, spectacular. She also shares her expertise through involvement in PR campaigns; working with clients to raise their profile and increase their brand awareness.
Lynette chose The Botanist, to introduce The Edge Events, for its “bohemian feel.” She says she wanted, “Somewhere to attract the fashionable crowd as well as invite some key contacts in a chilled out bar that was not too starchy.”
The Botanist is just that. It’s a gorgeous addition to Deansgate, with a magical garden theme. It’s all in the details with the stripped wooden floors and rustic seating. There are lots of quirky things to catch the eye, including the slightly crazy, yet fantastic, chandeliers!
The conservatory, which spills out on to the street, provided an intimate setting for the event and the laid back sounds of Vocalist Ruqia,
Jazz singer Ed Norris,
and Saxophonist, Calvin Henry
set the mood.
We enjoyed a glass of Prosecco
and delicious bar snacks and nibbles provided by The Botanist, all presented in garden themed paraphernalia, including miniature picnic baskets and tiny plant pots.
With words of thanks and a prize draw; framed by bespoke balloons from Balloon ur Room, Lynette proved that the seed of her idea has germinated, and with careful cultivation, has blossomed in to something unique, which promises to be special.
My friend and I had fun, met some interesting, beautiful people, and enjoyed our preview of a glittering world created by The Edge Events.
Thank you Lynette, for inviting us!
