The sun came out for yesterday’s Levy night market, and so did the people of Levenshulme.
Replacing the usual Saturday market with a Friday night food and drink fest attracted the masses, who relaxed on bales of hay, whilst listening to live music and soaking up the atmosphere.
It was an exciting way to pick up something tasty for dinner, without leaving the neighbourhood. You could even have your bike serviced.
We managed to sample our fair share of treats despite realising way too quickly that we had actually stuffed our faces.
Chicken Satay from Nasi Lemak Street Food.
Pheasant nibbles from North West Game.
Vintage Mac n Cheese from Mac Daddies.
And whatever my intentions, when Lush Brownies are at the market no other pudding will do.
All this washed down with a cheeky hot chocolate from Coffee Cranks, served in the fabulous Levy Market mugs.
If you missed it, Levy Market takes over the station car park every Saturday between March and December. Sign up to their mailing list to keep up to date with all the market news.
