When I go out for a meal with friends the last thing I want to do is spend the whole night taking photos for my blog, even though I know that posts always look better with a picture.
That said, I managed a few cheeky burger pics during my meal at Solita on Saturday and I couldn’t resist sharing them with you.
Catalan Burger
I chose this for the chorizo and roasted red pepper. Delicious and a manageable size.
Bacon Double Cheese
Held together with a piece of candied bacon – it looked just like the drawing on the wall!
Jack Daddy
Solita Onion
I have never seen anything like this before. It’s an onion peeled back and battered, so kinda like onion rings, I guess…
I have been to the Northern Quarter branch a few times now, including for New Year, and the food has always been great. These guys really know their burgers and they manage to serve them up with a flourish.
The Didsbury branch is clearly very popular already. When I tried to book on Friday they were fully booked for Saturday night. But I was helpfully informed that they reserve an area for walk-ins and, we were lucky to secure a table for 5 just as soon as we had walked in the door.
Make sure you pay them a visit to try these astonishing burgers for yourself.
